My role
Product designer (Founding team)
I spearheaded the design of the Tournafest app, now known as GGNation, from its inception in July 2021 until December 2022.
My role encompassed a broad array of responsibilities, including conducting in-depth research, outlining the product's scope, prototyping, setting visual guidelines, delivering the UI to developers, and ensuring the quality assurance of the product.
I had the opportunity to collaborate and provide guidance to two interns and a fellow designer for limited, yet impactful periods.
The app launched on 1 Dec 2021.

Purpose:
The research aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive esports audience in India, with a specific focus on the dynamics between tournament organizers and gamers. The primary objectives are to uncover their existing processes, identify pain points, and explore the motivations that drive their participation in tournaments.

Additionally, how can we enable organizers to efficiently manage their operations and highly customized tournaments and showcase their organizations's unique identity?

For gamers,
we provide a curated selection of verified tournaments, guaranteeing legitimacy and fair competition. Our platform also serves as a vibrant social hub, fostering connections with like-minded individuals, creating a community-driven atmosphere. Furthermore, we prioritize fair play, implementing robust measures to maintain a level playing field and ensure an equitable gaming environment.
For organizers,
We enable them to streamline tournament management and showcase their club's distinct brand identity. Our platform allows for high customization, enabling organizers to tailor tournaments to their specific requirements, from formats and rules to branding and representation. By providing an efficient and user-friendly interface, we empower organizers to optimize their organizational processes, saving time and resources.
